CeBIT 2008: the next iPhone killer

news_14455_1At the world's largest mobile electronics show CeBIT 2008 held in Hannover, Germany, was presented the first prototype of the phone company Meizu - Meizu M8 mini One. For the first time the world community heard about this phone over a year ago, in January 2007. And now, after such a large amount of time, the company finally introduced its first prototype.

... These phones look alike as two peas in a pod. But the technical performance of their radically different. If the evidence Meizu M8 mini One looks beautiful, the work he behaved very badly. The touch screen responds poorly to pressing a stylus and finger, and sometimes even ignored them, the operating system Meizu OS, based on the infamous Windows CE 6. 0, hopelessly retarded.

The manufacturer claims that the display resolution of 720x480 will have, the camera will be a 3- megapixel, built-in memory is 8 GB and the processor will run at 667 MHz. Oh, and they pledged full support for HSDPA at speeds of up to 7.2 Mbit / s. Too many promises. If the year Meizu could not even do normal operating touch screen in the prototype, it is likely that the yield of full-featured M8 mini One should wait a year or three or four. Would not it be by the time this pseudo- iPhone killer is hopelessly out of date? .
